Why do I charge?
Trust me, I wrestled with this. For a long time, I dreamed of starting a free community for email marketing because I love it so much. But as I’ve grown — as a businesswoman, a profitable farmer, and a keeper of my home — it became clear: a small ask can go a long way toward sustainability.
I want to be here for the long run, and charging a little makes that possible. And the best part? It’s less than a bag of organic chicken feed.
Why? I love personal growth. I love being alive. What a wonderful world we live in — a world where we can have ideas, nurture them through thoughtful work, and bring real value and meaning into the world. It’s so stinkin’ cool!
It makes me think of the pride and joy my daughters feel when they do something hard that nourishes our family. We keep family milk cows — so much work, but totally worth it — and they love making butter, yogurt, and ice cream for our table.
Knowing you can tackle something hard, do it consistently, and create something that truly matters for your community is priceless. For me, email marketing has become the best way I’ve found to make that a reality.
